Stephen has over 30 years’ experience in the rural property sector since joining Robinson & Hall in 1986 and becoming a Partner in 1991. Having grown up on a farm, he draws on his agricultural experience to advise landowners and rural businesses on a broad range of property related matters.
Specialising in estate management, landlord and tenant, valuations and compulsory purchase, Stephen also arranges finance for rural businesses as Agent and Panel Valuer for the Agricultural Mortgage Corporation PLC. He is a member of the Agricultural Law Association, Country Land and Business Association, National Farmers Union, Tenant Farmers Association and Royal Forestry Society. Stephen also plays an active part in the profession being Treasurer (and a Past President) of the Herts, Beds & Bucks Agricultural Valuers Association, a past Chairman of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Beds & Herts Rural Practice Division and a member of the Surveyors 1921 Club.
As Managing Partner, Stephen is responsible for the firm’s information and communications technology systems, finance, and its quality management system.
Outside Robinson & Hall Stephen enjoys walking in the countryside, travelling and listening to music.
