“I am keen to develop my competence in a variety of rural affairs working at Robinson & Hall, with the bolstering of my Masters qualification, so that I can become a reliable source of information and advice for current and future clients.”

Emma joined us as Assistant Rural Surveyor in September 2025.

She has worked in various roles prior to Robinson & Hall, including Sales for an outdoor pursuits distributor, managing trade customer accounts across the UK and Northern Ireland. She has also worked on a diverse estate across several branches. This included tractor work, giving hands on experience to achieve strong crop yields and high specification varieties, using modern farming methods. This role developed to providing property management services, including the forecasting of repair budgets across a portfolio, as well as analysis of farm-gathered data to look towards higher efficiency outputs across all farming operations.

Emma’s short term goals are to maximise the on-the-job learning with gaining educational insight from her Masters in Rural Estate and Land Management, with a view to completion of RICS, and later the CAAV qualifications. Continual exposure to a breadth of clients will create a rounded knowledge and understanding of rural matters in the current climate in order to be a source of quality advice to a variety of business types and their relative endeavours.

In her spare time, Emma enjoys clay shooting at a competitive level. Following representing her county and being part of a GBR team at a Junior World Cup, Emma aspires to continue on a positive trajectory. When not on the range, Emma makes the most of time outside, whether that be: walking, gardening or back at home helping on the local farms with some ad-hoc tractor driving. Throughout the winter, she enjoys the buzz of a shoot day, where she will be either seen working a dog in the beating line or loading.
