David joins us as a Senior Building Surveyor in March 2025.
David has over 40 years experience as a Building Surveyor and qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 1996. He has worked on commercial, retail, charitable, blue light and education estates, working on all property types from historic buildings to PFI estates, most recently as Head of Surveying within a large Construction/Property business.
He has experience of the full range of Building Surveying services including defect diagnosis and building pathology, condition surveys and lifecycle assessments, dilapidations, party wall awards, managing capital repair programmes and inspecting properties in relation to the presence of RAAC.
Outside of work, David is a keen motorcycle rider, a musician in a gigging rock band and a very patient Newcastle United supporter.
