Andrew retired from Robinson & Hall in December 2021 but still has an active role as a Consultant.
He has over 20 years’ experience working on planning and development projects on behalf of various private owners and organisations, ranging from large urban extensions to smaller sites, including residential barn conversions and farmyard redevelopment.
Using his considerable professional experience, Andrew is particularly well known for generating additional value from land and property through option/planning promotion agreements and identifying opportunities or alternative uses for existing buildings.
Clients have valued his strategic planning expertise to effectively promote sites through the planning system and to ensure that they derive maximum benefit from development opportunities.
Key achievements are securing consents for residential development on the edge of a village, achieving a sensitively designed commercial enterprise in an open countryside location and obtaining planning permission for what was then the UK’s largest solar farm.
Andrew is a keen tennis player and plays for teams in the Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes leagues. He enjoys watching a range of competitive sports, travelling and when time permits has even been known to appear in amateur theatre productions. He is also a keen cyclist and has joined the R&H team in the Barclays charitable bike rides, raising money for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution.
