Job Description:


We are seeking an RICS qualified surveyor to join our small Commercial Property Team to deal with all aspects of commercial property with a strong rural focus including sales and lettings, property management, landlord & tenant matters, valuations, rating and development. Excellent career progression prospects for the right candidate. Would suit a commercial surveyor or a rural surveyor with some commercial property experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial property management including property inspections, arranging repairs and maintenance, liaising with tenants and contractors, management records, rent arrears.
  • Commercial agency including lettings and sales of a range of commercial properties including undertaking viewings, preparing short term leases and licences
  • Professional matters such as rent reviews and general property advice
  • Red Book valuations for tax, accounts, etc (not secured lending)
  • Creating strong, effective relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Participating in networking and business development activities

Key Requirements:

  • MRICS qualified
  • A good understanding of commercial property agency and management
  • The desire and ability to work to high standards whilst meeting deadlines
  • A good team player but with the ability to work on your own and show initiative
  • An excellent academic, professional and personal record
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate and negotiate effectively
  • Driving licence and own car
