Our Architecture & Building Surveying department recently prepared all the plans to convert some redundant agricultural barns into high-tech offices near Swanbourne, Buckinghamshire.
The barns were granted prior approval under the General Permitted Development Order thus saving our client time and costs.
We prepared a scheme for the conversion works along with all the necessary working drawings to gain building regulations approval and to aid the contractor to carry out the conversion works.
The completed project consists of a large open plan office with a reception area, kitchen and toilets. The converted offices also include energy efficient air source heat pumps, well insulated external walls and double-glazed windows and doors.
The converted offices are now fully occupied by Taylor French Developments, one of the leading property developers and affordable housing contractors, with projects across London and the South East.
Everyone is delighted with the completed project, especially as the offices have achieved an A-rated Energy Performance Certificate.
