Part time Auction & Social Media Administrator (Maternity Cover)

Office: Buckingham

Office hours: Monday to Friday 20 hours per week (10 – 2pm or similar)

To cater for our clients’ varying requirements and to benefit from a far greater marketing exposure, our auction department joined forces in January 2013 with one of the country’s largest auctioneers, Auction House UK. Now known as Auction House Robinson & Hall we cover a large area extending over Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and parts of Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire.

Main purpose of job:

Please note the role is for a 12 month maternity cover with potential to turn into a permanent position. Start date: July 2022.

Working in the busy Property Auction department, you will be responsible for day-to-day administrative demands, along with dealing with telephone enquiries in a pro-active manner necessary to meet tight deadlines. You will also be responsible for Auction House Robinson & Hall’s social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linked In posting daily updates inline with the social media plan and strategy.

Key responsibilities:

• Posting daily social media updates.
• Updating websites.
• Booking appointments and managing diaries for all department staff.
• Updating and managing property and applicant details.
• Compiling the bi-monthly Auction catalogue.
• Stock checking all marketing material and ordering more when required.
• Support in dealing with solicitors ensuring legal packs are properly supplied and available within the required time frame.
• Invoicing.
• Ensuring files are maintained to audit standard.
• Archiving.

Requirements

• Pro-active and assertive and have an excellent telephone manner.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Full driving licence.
