Our Architecture & Building Surveying department has successfully obtained planning consent for another exciting project in north Bedfordshire.
The project involves extending an existing bungalow to provide 4 bedrooms upstairs for a growing family. The clients intend to significantly enhance the energy efficiency of the property by incorporating high levels of insulation and improving air tightness.
Clients are also investigating new air source heating to hopefully benefit from the Renewable Heat Incentive – a Government scheme which pays you for heating your own home through renewable energy.
We are currently preparing detailed drawings to submit for Building Regulations approval and to obtain contractors quotations for the works.
Robert Franklin, Head of Architecture & Building Surveying comments “This project has yet again seen all of our in-house specialists come together to obtain successful planning permission. We are looking forward to project managing the works and delivering a vastly improved energy efficient property.”
Please contact either Robert Franklin or David Sawford if you are thinking of extending or wish to consider incorporating renewables in your property.Back to articles
